The University was formed on September 11, 1899 under the name of the Northern Arizona Normal School. Since that time it has undergone several name changes and acquired its current name Northern Arizona University. Northern Arizona University is dedicated to offering 93 different undergraduate programs that prepare its students for any career.

Students may apply to Applying to Northern Arizona University using the online application.  Students can pay a $25 non-refundable application fee using a major credit card or an electronic check from a US bank. The following requirements are sure to be met by prospective students:
