Founded in 1978 as the American College of Optics, the school was renamed American Career College in 1993 due to an expanding curriculum and a larger student population. With campuses in Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire, ACC offers quality healthcare career training that will provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to find a career upon graduation.
The vocational training school offers different healthcare programs in the following fields: massage, vocational nursing, surgical technician, dentistry and pharmacy. All programs are based on employer requirements.

AdmissionsCandidates should apply for admission as soon as they are ready in order to be officially accepted for a specific program and starting date. Before enrollment future students are required to visit an American Career College campus to gain a better understanding of the college and view its facilities and equipment. In addition, candidates are required to complete an application form and engage in a personal interview with an Admissions Representative.
